Exotic Pets, an incubatee at RETO Foundation, is going to breed various species of birds and export them to international market. In the initial phase, such breeding and mutation is done among Macaw, Grey Parrot, Cockatoo, Ring Neck, Budgies and others.

Exotic Pets, as name suggests, aims to solve two problems. On the production side, it plans to work on exotic bird conservation that would otherwise have the tendency to become extinct. This goal is aligned with the global Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number fifteen which is about ‘life on earth’.

Secondly, on the sales side, it plans to diversify export economy of Pakistan, by selling these exotic mutants of birds to the international market.

Hence, the problems that Exotic Pets aims to address are about bird conservation on the production side and export diversification on the sales side.
