RETO’s Shades launched in Mirpur Khas
After successfully launching their student body and educational programs in Tando Jam, RETO is now in Mirpur Khas.
The launching SHADESceremony was heldon 30th August, 2015 in the Cultural Hall at the Cultural Complex in Mirpurkhas and the event was made possible by the head of SHADES Mirpur Khas Chapter, KamlishGoswami. The SHADES team from Tando Jam also had the chance to visit Mirpur Khas and connect with the student body of the area.
To mark the event, the RETO and SHADES teams conducted a Career Guidance Seminar. The event includedworkshops and guidance on various academic and professional fields, scholarships, and skills required at the workplace conducted by RETO co-founders,Shahzad and Kashif. They were also joined by current LUMS scholarship holder, FarazHussain, who recently had the opportunity to present his undergraduate project at Harvard University.
There was excitement in the atmosphere which was further lightened up by music performances by local Mirpurkhas talents.
The success of the event has inspired RETO to reach out to other areas of interior Sindh.
